Every damn year.
I need to learn how to draw a decent Batman pic.

So what you’re trying to say is that women people prefer well-drawn pictures of their favorite superheroes over really shitty indie comics about boobs?
Sounds right.

Wait, was this comic supposed to make us sympathize with the dude dumb enough to put a pair of disembodied boobs on the cover of his comic and then wonder why he couldn’t market it to women?

I love it when dudebros shoot themselves in the foot. Keep going, y’all are super entertaining. You should make an indie comic about that.

Fun fact: the “con stuff” is easy if you have basic respect for the people you’re selling your shit too. Emphasis on “shit” here if the boobcover is any indication…

…. Some of the other folk I run into in artist alleys and dealers rooms don’t really understand that thinking of your potential customers as prey or as simpletons is only going to ensure they remain ‘potential’.
I’m just shaking my head sadly at how aggressive and insulting this comic’s tone is.
Who would want to buy your comic when you target your customers as the butt of your jokes and insult their purchasing decisions? If your thing isn’t what they want to buy that day, you don’t get to insult them for that! It’s THEIR money and decision to make! Our customers don’t owe us ANYTHING. It’s or job to EARN their interest and desire.
AND THEREFORE: Shout out to all my beloved customers and supporters and rebloggers who have believed in my earnest passion for what I’m doing and my honest interest in helping to spread happiness and LGBTQIA support and education by way of fleece, minky, fuzz, and fluff.
I legitimately love you guys. ♡

I don’t think this post got popular in the way the creator intended.
…Good.

Men who are progressive, profeminist, or allies to women — we have to constantly check ourselves. We have to be open and listen to women and sometimes respond by taking a backseat and not encroaching on female space in ways that are kind of natural to us. It’s so integrated into who we are as men: to take center stage, to lead, to be out front, to not really understand the power dynamic that’s at play. I think it’s really important for all of us men who are progressive and who are working to eradicate sexism and all the other social ills out there to be a lot more cognizant of our presence in these circles and spaces.

You got young enlisted guys, 18-to-22 years old — they’ve suddenly been thrust into a situation with extraordinary responsibility where they now have access to all of your private records,” Snowden said. “Now, in the course of their daily work, they stumble across something that is completely unrelated to their work in any sort of necessary sense, for example, an intimate nude photo of someone in a sexually compromising situation, but they’re extremely attractive.

So what do they do, they turn around in their chair and show their coworker. And their coworker says, “Oh, hey, that’s great. Send that to Bill down the way.” And then Bill sends it to George, George sends it to Tom. Sooner or later, this person’s whole life has been seen by all of these other people. It’s never reported, nobody ever knows about it because the auditing of these systems is very weak. The fact that your private images, records of your private lives, records of your intimate moments have been taken from your private communications stream, from the intended recipient, and given to the government without any specific authorization, without any specific need, is in itself a violation of your rights? Why is that in a government database?

I don’t think that people generally realise what motion picture industry has done to the American Indian, as a matter of fact, all ethnic groups, all minorities, all non-whites. And people just simply don’t realise, just take it for granted that that’s the way people are going to be presented and these clichés are just, I mean on this network every night, well perhaps not every night, but you can see silly renditions of human behaviour, the leering Filipino houseboy, the wily Japanese, the kook or the gook, black man, stupid Indian. It just goes on and on and on. And people actually don’t realise how deeply people are injured by seeing themselves represented, not so much the adults, who are already inured to that kind of pain and pressure, but children. Indian children seeing Indians represented as savage, as ugly, as nasty, vicious, treacherous, drunken. They grow up only with a negative image of themselves and it lasts a lifetime.

Jane Doe, the anonymous 16-year-old transgender girl who spent two months in an adult correctional facility despite no criminal charge, has been transferred to a “secure facility for delinquent boys.”

According to DCF officials, while in the psychiatric facility, Doe assaulted a staff member and a fellow youth, and also destroyed DCF property on Saturday night, prompting the final determination of placement at the Juvenile Training School, stating that there is no other “suitable place” for her.

Doe’s lawyer told the AP that DCF has already broken a number of promises regarding his client’s placement, safety, and future prospects. Doe’s attorney claims that DCF officials had assured him that Doe would receive adequate therapy, and that the agency would attempt to place her in a foster home.

Doe is being held in a separate room, away from the boys at JTS.

I don’t have any words for how unjust, inhumane and downright awful this is. #JusticeForJane

justice4jane has posted a list of action items and important people to call to demand Jane’s freedom. The most important stuff:

Call Malloy: 860-566-4840
Call DCF (demand Jane’s immediate release): 860-550-6300
Tweet: @CTDCF and @GovMalloyOffice. Use #JusticeForJane hashtag.
